GOAL

Disney Interactive needed help with Video SEO after partnering with YouTube for their 24 Disney channels. After realizing they were losing Google traffic and keyword search from not using the right titles and metadata, Disney hired EG entertainment to handle the job. Their most important objective was to have their videos pop up on the first page of Google.

STRATEGY

Start by performing R&D on Disney’s ecosphere of media channels, franchise animations, movies and TV shows. Analyze and breakdown keyword search data to inform execution strategy.

TACTICS

Chose the top 100 Google search terms relevant to Disney channels. Re-titled over 100+ videos for niche and search. Added metadata for relevant sub-topics and keywords. Changed all thumbnails with visual graphics. Created an SEO link strategy back to each individual channel and video to increase organic traffic.

RESULTS

we reached THE First page of google in less than three months for more than 80% of their videos. generated an increase of over 35% in website traffic back to disney’s main home page. in addition, disney has saved thousands in paid advertising due to their organic page rank.
